As longtime friends will recall, years ago, as the Soviet Union was coming apart like an overripe grapefruit, K. R. was recommending to everyone with whom he came into contact that they not be overly smug or sanguine about what was transpiring. The United States, he predicted, could easily find itself splitting apart the same way in the not too distant future. Now the nation's most sophisticated establishment newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, in this report, has noted the same possibility.
However, in light of the actions and corruption of the federal government, separating from it now has the potential for being a positive and freedom enhancing step rather than a destructive move.
