Given that Obama has assiduously, zealously, and effectively used the nation's resources to reward and bestow favors on his domestic political cronies and supporters, one has to ask why his foreign policy is focused on appeasing and assisting America's antagonists while undermining, insulting, or, at best, slighting or ignoring our traditional friends and allies.
One very plausible -- though distasteful -- explanation of the apparent inconsistency is the possibility that the U.S. and its current president have different friends and adversaries; specifically, that Mr. Obama may be aligned with those hostile to America and its values, and that he shares their enmity toward our friends with similar values.
Unfortunately, many of Mr. Obama's actions and statements over many years support such a conclusion.
