Dim Bulbs Get a Glimmer . . . and Getting Angry
Governmental regulations long have been viewed with skepticism by conservatives and, especially libertarians but with favor by liberals/progressives. Now, however, as is made clear in this editorial, the latter group are awaking to a reality that the skeptics long have recognized: Government regulators (as is spelled out in this report) always end up as captives of those they were supposed to regulate, working with and for them rather than for the public.
