An Example of Sloppily Inaccurate Labeling

Warren Buffett often is referred to by the media as a "businessman," which he is not.

A businessman is someone who produces or supplies goods and services for the public.

Mr. Buffett is an investor, and an extraordinarily successful one. He invests in businesses that produce or supply goods and services for the public but he himself is not and never has been engaged in doing so.
