Scary Similarity

The warning by America's great orator that the U.S. will not tolerate Iran's acquisition of nuclear weapons is beginning to look an awful lot like his having defined the use of chemical weapons as "a red line" that the U.S. would not permit the Syrian regime to cross.

The "red line" now has become a vague blur as the community organizer-in-chief has been sacrificing his (and the nation's) credibility by trying to walk back from his recklessly bombastic statement.

The braying Barack is emulating the doltish Jimmy Carter in transforming Teddy Roosevelt's admonition to "talk softly and carry a big stick" into

Talk Strongly and Carry a Feather Duster

If you draw a line in the sand, warn an aggressive adversary not to cross it, and then back off when the aggressor does so, what do you suppose the aggressor  is going to do when you draw a new line?

Keep this up and you eventually just may find yourself backed into a dangerous corner.

Just sayin'.
