A Terrible Appointment That Should Not Be Confirmed
By and large, I've been pleasantly surprised by, or at least neutral toward President Elect Obama's personnel appointments to date. But Eric Holder is a terrible choice for attorney general. This link is to a December 3 Wall Street Journal editorial on the subject that just touches the highlights of why this is so, but it alone justifies my conclusion. Mr. Holder should not be confirmed to head the nation's Department of Justice.
