One of this blog's followers has responded to the immediately preceding post with an e-mail musing about whether GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt ever has read Atlas Shrugged or if he and his cronies ever have read anything at all or have any capacity for introspection.

Also, it is to be noted that GE is not alone. Big business today is generally in cahoots with big government, as is Wall Street, headed up by Goldman Sachs and the nation's big banks -- the very folks who created the debt bubble that took down our economy when it burst.
