Spending Cut Sought by Obama

It's true, even though it's being kept quiet. The President has found a way to cut spending . . . and he is pushing for it.

He wants to cut back on pay increases that have been in the works for members of the armed forces -- the men and women who go into harm's way, putting their lives on the line, to protect the country and its citizens.

With the number of people on the government payroll and their pay rates escalating at a record pace, the Prez wants to cut back on pay raises for the troops . . . and he is so modest that he is going about his efforts to do so very quietly and unobtrusively. His efforts have hardly been noticed by the fringe (formerly mainstream) media.
