'Tis a Puzzlement

The Prez today emerged from his vacation hideout to kibitz about events in Libya -- hardly an urgent matter, or one of great or widespread concern to Americans. 


Obviously though, those events weigh far more heavily on our speechifying leader than the nation's economic and employment situation. He obviously sees no need to interrupt his vacation to address those less pressing matters before he returns to the White House after Labor Day. 


He then will insist that the nation keep trying, and spend even more money -- either sucked out of the economy or borrowed and added to the deficit -- on his failed policies of the past.
