Benefit of the Obama Candidacy

The presidential candidacy of Barack Obama is having a significant and much needed salutary effect on our country. His run for the White House and the focus it has brought on his pastor and spiritual advisor have shattered the idea that racism afflicts only white people, and clearly shown that blacks (and presumably members of other racial and ethnic minorities) also can be bigots and racists, and harbor virulent prejudices and racial hatreds.
