Letter to My Local Newspaper:
Because it is difficult to the point of being almost impossible to determine the party affiliation of Eliot Spitzer from your accounts of his disgrace while your published reports about Larry Craig as well as every other transgressing Republican prominently and repeatedly mention his/their party affiliation, one can only conclude from your fair and nonpartisan publication that the New York governorship is a nonpartisan office.
Readers may wish to send something like the above to their newspapers if warranted by their editorial policies. Perhaps we can shame them into pretending to be fair.
P.S. For the record: K.R. is not a Republican. Insofar as politicians go, he views with contempt and disgust, and despises almost all of them equally.
